I suppose this would explain why dirty old men want to practice the "laying on of hands"

I couldn’t fight it any longer! Believe me, I tried, Wall Watchers.

At first, I thought I could ignore Carrie Prejean during the Miss USA imbroglio.

You know, when the Donald “trumped” the news and trotted her out before a sweltering dais of paparazzi, flashing cameras and gay rights activists who wanted to know just who in the h-e-double-hockeysticks would tell Perez Hilton what states should do about same-sex marriages.

(And how in the h-e-double-hockeysticks did get to judge Miss USA anyway?!)

“Well I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one way or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And, you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, no offense to anybody out there. But that’s how I was raised and I believe that it should be between a man and a woman.”

And that started it all.

All the “I think” and “I believe” was fine with me. It’s her opinion, and as a vociferous Bible-tottin’ Christian, who was I to argue?!

That is until she lost her crown, a sex tape popped up (as did Web traffic globally) and launched her whirlwind media tour to deny everything… except that it was just her in said tape (wink wink). Now, porn magnate Vivid has said tapes of her solo affair and wants to make a quick buck.

Yet, I still managed to turn a deaf ear… until now. But. Must. Write. Can’t. Help. Myself. And why? Because we learn Carrie Prejean has Christian boobies. (You read that correctly. Stop laughing and pay attention.)

Thanks to the story in Us, by way of an exclusive with Christianity Today, Carrie is on the public relations trail again. High-HO-Silver (I think that’s an unofficial nickname):

“No, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting breast implants as a Christian,” Prejean, 22, says in a new interview with Christianity Today. “I think it’s a personal decision. I don’t see anywhere in the Bible where it says you shouldn’t get breast implants.

You’re right, Carrie. It’s not in the Bible. I know, I’ve checked. However, since you are so smart, perhaps you could help all of us biblical dunderheads?

  • Abortion isn’t clearly defined either. Cherishing life and “thou shalt not kill” is. Where do you stand on that, Madame Hermeneutics?
  • The Bible tells us to flee from drunkenness, but doesn’t say much about shooting up or freebasing. So, how’s your crack habit these days?
  • Any thoughts on the tens of thousands of Christians who have tattoos? I mean that scripture in Leviticus 19:28 was talking about pagan practices, but meh? I’m sure you got a tramp stamp to justify that one too.

Ah, well. The mysteries of the Bible… and of Carrie Prejean, biblical scholar and excuse-making dimwit. Come to think of it, the Bible isn’t that clear about sex tapes, but who am I to judge.

    Yeah,
I think this girl is way in over her head. She wants to stand up for Christian morality being interviewed the other day against the ‘hookup’ habits of young teens. The moment she got the fake boobs is the moment she became part of the over-sexualized culture that she now claims to preach against. Give me a break! Get off your high horse before you fall off and need more work done!

    Christian boobs? what is that?

It’s kind of hard to throw the Bible at the geek squad for homosexuality if you(Carrie) are committing adultery. Pageants are rife with gay guys, as is all of show business. The hypocrisy is running pretty deep. She is marketing her hotness and any press is good press(can you name any other Miss USA?). I bet she gives in at some point and takes the cash, not unlike most religious leaders.

PS- Esther went through 12 months of beauty treatments(Esther2:12)unforunately we have no before and after pictures.

Well she could have used her super powers to lock all the doors and burn the place down saving Perez Hilton for her last victim, but she didnt.

The gay activists would have done this and worse to any of us who stand up against them. Although I dont have any sex tapes, meat-bearing skeletons, or salacious quotes they could use against me, it didnt stop one of them from superimposing/photoshopping my head onto the body of one two naked men in a sex act and put it on the web. I dont know if its still there.

So Im down with Carrie knowing that their perverted anger is only because she isnt affirming of them. Theyre not angry because she’s a hypocrite, theyre peed because she wont support them. The ones who do support homosexuality, have mountains of perversion and hypocrisy following them, but its cool because theyre gay friendly.

Id suggest to her that she get an “Aaron” to help her when she is out in public. And a coach to learn how to give really good media soundbites.

Personally, I dont hold any fault against her for getting the boob upgrade no more than Id be upset about her getting her crooked teeth fixed if they were. She probably should have paid for them with her own money though.

    I agree all the way.

@Phil – She stood up when most would have sat down long ago. She’s strong for that, which is why I was cool with her. But this? Sigh… it’s a matter of knowing when to say when. You are right though bro. She should be applauded for what she said then. I’m not so sure about now.

@IST – I heard the Geek Squad are good for that. The fact that Christ followers really on Hollywood for their megaphone befuddles me. We can be our own voice. I mean look at any one of our blogrolls. We got some stalwarts up in here. Now, if only we knew OctoMom, Jon & Kate or Donald Trump more people would hear it.

@Ann – I’m with you. Like I told Phil, I had her back… until this. Sigh. (And hey, I was feelin’ it, sister. HA!)

  8. I have to learn not to eat or dink while reading your work – otherwise I’ll always need a WetWipe and a service warranty for my laptop 😆

You’re better than I am bro – I ignored this chick back when she was anointed the next big “Christo/Conservative” plaything (no pun intended – I think). Sure she expressed her opinion and got lampooned for it, but let’s be real: she didn’t stand flat-footed and exegete scripture (and they don’t have any video of her hanging out at Santa Monica Pier evangelizing and sharing Christ w/people…just her…oh forget it – can’t even coyly step around that one). She’s a phony – just like every other Christo/Conservative who’s been caught with their pants down/dress up/playing foot-tap in an airport men’s room.

Attention fellow followers of Christ: STOP LOOKING FOR GODLY REPS IN THE MEDIA! Stick with your bible (Jesus is the best example), your pastor (as long as he’s not a raving nut who only uses the bible as a coaster for his pimp goblet) and strive to be Christlike yourself. Leave the Christo/Conservative phonies to themselves (again, no pun…ah forget it).

“High-HO-Silver” You wrong for that! I supported Carrie…But now I don’t no what to think.

  10. Hey Scribe,

Be kind dude! She stood up when it cost her something (how many people are willing to do that?) and to me that’s more important then silicon or her lack of theological training my friend!

    Peace!

    Phil
