Yeah, what a Lothario.

Yeah, what a Lothario.

Pony trotting. Cigar smoking. Greek writing. Lecherous looking. Money stealing. That was Dr. Gene Scott. (MEMO to Wall Watchers, if you know what’s good for you, do watch that link. Hil. Ar. Ee. Ous!)

Anyone who has experienced a hankering for late-night TV and erstwhile, a quest for things of God, have found this tool back in his heyday puffing on a stogie demanding cash to pay for his horse stables and alcohol bingeser, ministry.

“Get on the telephone,” the foolish dolt could be heard yelling at the top of his tar-filled lungs. It wasn’t about Jesus. It was about cash money, but at least he was honest about it.

You knew that because every time he would break for “the phones to get hot,” this charlatan would go to video clips of rubenesque women in complimentary sweaters while rocking horseback a la Lady Godiva.

And then he died at the age of 75… and that’s when it got really interesting.

His uh, “wife” – nearly 40 years his junior – took over the ministry with armored truck in tow making more than… wait for it… $1 million per month, as hubby did in his corpulent day! No wondered she jumped on the equine gravy train.

Relatively quiet from late night benders, Marie Claire magazine (yeah, that’s what I said… not precisely the bastion of investigative journalism) decided to get involved (with some spry writing) and blow the “Jesus Saves” sign justly off the Universal Cathedral in Los Angeles.

Shortly after his funeral, Doc Scott’s comely young wife assumed University’s pulpit. But after her first sermon, someone anonymously mailed churchgoers Easter cards featuring snapshots of a porn star named Barbi Bridges, who looked remarkably similar to Pastor Melissa Scott. One image showed the woman with her legs spread wide, Virgin Mary and baby Jesus postage stamps covering her privates. Another featured a “See you Sunday!” banner plastered across her bare chest; underneath, it read: “The Church Where You Can Do Anything … Anything.”

In lieu of Ted Haggard, Jim Bakker, Robert Tilton, Jim Swaggart and Paul Crouch ubiquitous falls from grace, this seemed just another day at the ecumenical office. She denied it, kept on preaching and no one said, “Boo!”

Until this story came out and now, “Barbie Bridges” and “Melissa Scott” are two of the most-searched terms on Google. Stay classy, world.

Some of the die-hard brainwashed folk don’t understand the ballyhoo or see the resemblance. They just follow the bit in their collective mouths and agree this crusty curmudgeon just met this hot woman who, according to her Web site, is a natural linguist with command of twenty languages, she digs deeply into her vast collection of ancient manuscripts to find and communicate the purest understanding of what the original inspired writers of the Bible had to say.

Oh yeah, and she was a porn queen. Yeah, those two go together like PB & J.

Is there a resemblance? Is “Barbie Bridges” and uh, Pastor Scott indeed the same? You tell me… it must be the eyes.

Now, allow me to preface, God is a god of second chances and regardless of what she did to eh, “earn a living” back in the day, if God was in the mix of repentance, Melissa is forgiven and all is well.

However, based on the greased-pig tactics of the Scott empire, this woman is doing the same thing to get the same thing – tricks for treats. It’s all about the Benjamins, right Pastor?

So, just how did Melissa get her baptism by fire? Apparently, Gene Scott had more mystical powers of pablum than we knew:

“I’m the fruit of his lifelong ministry. He birthed me,” Scott says, choking up.

Well, that’s nice. Back to the show…

If you are proud of a testimony, why hide it? Why not express what God is capable of doing in your life? Why not lead others to the gospel with your message and the power of the Lord to remove sin as far as the east is from the west? Maybe, you’re just full of hot air like your Cuban stick smoking husband?

Asked about the Barbie Bridges matter, Scott smacks her berry-stained lips and scoffs. “It’s definitely a freak show. I’ve seen a good portion of the stuff on the Internet, and honestly, I almost have to laugh at it,” she says, flashing the smile again. Pressed further, Scott sighs deeply, then adds, “Okay, I was never an actress in a pornographic movie. So what does that do? You defend that, what else do you start defending?

I don’t know about you, but if someone accused me of being in porn, I would look into my own style of “laying on of hands” and slap that lying devil in the grill. Barbie… er, Melissa? She just rolls with it. Regretfully, her pulpit is stained with more than memories of being a pony girl. It’s her predecessor and his flagrant abuse of trust, apologetics and love of God. And then there is rumors of Melissa following in her hubby’s cankles demanding people to work for free so she can pay for her condo and surrounded by a dozen bodyguards at all times.

Jesus had that… only the guards were interested in the body of Christ, not one that has been seen across the Web on a daily basis.

It’s truly unfortunate to see such barrage criticism from people with little or no knowledge of scriptures. Truly if you guys were in the days of Hosea, you would have almost taken over God’s throne from him to disqualify not just Hosea but God himself who had given him those instructions. Please sit down and open your minds and hearts to hear what God has to say to you in every situation. You want to be God over the lives and affairs of others when you are unable obey a simple command from God – Don’t judge! Please watch before you leap. In fact, from your context of criticism it’s obvious you know little or nothing about Dr. Gene Scott ministry – you have never spent time to listen to his messages, scripture and historical teachings. It’s horrible for some of you to just pick on a few sentimental issues, draw your conclusions and rain shallow criticisms. Here’s my advice – JUST SIT DOWN, KEEP QUIET AND LISTEN, WHILE YOU ASK GOD TO GIVE YOU A SOUND MIND OF JUDGMENT. May God bless you for doing the right thing.

As a freewill person, how would you like it if a cop ordered you to go to the bathroom when you don’t have to, using the excuse that: “You’re going to use it eventually anyhow for your health, and you will be cited with an IRS fine if you don’t do it now?”

Or Pelosi/Sebelius/Napolitano ordering you to buy a banana in a grocery store: “because it is good for your health, and you will be fined with IRS Form 1040 if you don’t do it now.”

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius contradicted herself on abortion funding in the Senate health care bill in a Sunday interview on NBC’s “Meet The Press.” Sebelius applauded the Senate language before and talked about mandatory abortion fees, but now she claims there is no funding.

Sebelius also appeared to contradict herself within the interview, saying at one point that abortion funding is a part of the government-run health care bill.

Sebelius was asked whether the Senate bill would be fixed to top the massive abortion funding it contains and other pro-abortion problems.

“There is no federal money paying for abortions,” President Barack Obama’s top health care spokeswoman maintained. “That’s just not my statement, it is what, you know, a legal analyst who has looked at the Senate bill, it’s what the fact checkers who look at the statements say.”

Yet, when she spoke with ABC’s “This Week” program yesterday, she said “Yes, abortion services are provided” under the Senate health care bill.

She tried to qualify her answer by adding, “people will pay out of their own pockets, in both the Senate and the House, but they do it in slightly different ways.” Full story at LifeNews.com

Democrats have examined virtually every possible method of railroading the government-run health care bill through Congress and they appear to have finalized a plan to pass it and leave the abortion funding and promotion in place.

In the haze of the confusion on Capital Hill, some details can be confirmed.

Democratic leaders have confirmed repeatedly on Thursday and Friday that they will not strike a deal with pro-life Democrats, led by Rep. Bart Stupak, to stop abortion funding. They have gone as far as saying they specifically want to force Americans to pay for abortions.

    ————————————————————-

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — The Obama administration has released a new memo that misleads the public on the abortion funding via community health centers found in the Senate health care bill. It takes a shot at National Right to Life, but the venerable pro-life group pushed saying no limits leave open abortion funding.

At issue is a provision in the Senate health care bill that allows $7 billion in funding for Community Health Centers — something President Barack Obama expanded in his request for changes to the bill.

The National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) and other pro-life groups have condemned the provision because the money could be funneled to abortion businesses to pay for abortions and will not be subject to provisions like the Hyde Amendment that stops abortion funding.

Douglas Johnson, the legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee, explains “the Reproductive Health Access Project and the Abortion Access Project are already actively campaigning for Community Health Centers to do elective abortions.”

Obama officials respond by saying the Senate health care bill would not change the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits abortion funding under the HHS appropriations bill but does not apply to the Senate bill. Full story at LifeNews.com

    ———————————————————–

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — The number of pro-life Democrats standing with Rep. Bart Stupak against the pro-abortion Senate health care bill has dwindled as Democrats have applied every possible pressure to persuade them to support the measure. With more pro-life Democrats supporting the bill Nancy Pelosi is closer to getting 216 votes.

Stupak told Roll Call his now has only a half dozen pro-life Democrats in his coalition, down from the twelve he has had for weeks who said they would remain firm.

I don’t know if it’s enough, Stupak said of whether he can deliver enough votes to defeat the Senate bill and its massive abortion funding. There’s rumors going back and forth. Last I heard they were short four and that was about an hour ago.

Stupak also told The Hill that he’s not seen a lot to reassure him about the executive order idea of having President Barack Obama issue a directive removing the abortion funding from the bill. National Right to Life says the idea wouldn’t work anyway.

Stupak told reporters that he has “not seen an executive order” and he was “going to think about” what it would have to include to get his vote.

As Stupak’s talks with Pelosi and Democrats have seemingly failed on attempting to find a way to prevent abortion funding, more members have declared their support for the bill.

    ———————————————————-

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — Apparently unable to find enough votes for the pro-abortion Senate health care bill and with talks breaking down on how to allow Rep. Bart Stupak a vote on some sort of motion or bill to stop abortion funding, Democrats appear to be relying on a potential executive order to corral more votes for the bill.

The idea is to promise an executive order from President Barack Obama to stop the massive abortion funding and promotion in the Senate measure.

The goal is to pacify Stupak and a coalition of pro-life Democrats threatening to vote against the Senate bill without abortion funding removed.

Majority Leader Steny Hoyer told reporters at mid-day today, according to the Daily Caller that he can’t promise an executive order will be issued but said one is under discussion.

The intent is obviously to express what we have said all along, that we believe the language that has been included in both bills seeks to accomplish, and that is that there will no use of public funds for abortion,he said.

Pelosi herself commented on the idea. “An executive order is a different thing. That might be a possibility,” she said according to a conversation Politico overhead.

Leading pro-life advocates say an executive order is a non-starter because it can’t fix themyriad of pro-abortion problems with the bill.

“It should be noted that all of the problems listed in the NRLC letter — with the possible exception of no. 5 (pro-abortion administrative mandates) — would be created by and controlled by the proposed statutory language of H.R. 3590,” Douglas Johnson of National Right to Life told LifeNews.com. “If the bill is signed into law, these statutory requirements and defects are not subject to correction or nullification by the chief executive or his appointees, whether by Executive Order, regulation, or otherwise.” Full story at LifeNews.com

There is rumor circulating on Capitol hill (ok there are tons of rumors but I’ll deal with this one) that the President will sign an Executive Order that would remove abortion funding from the Senate health care bill the House is scheduled. Here is the draft of a letter we are sending to Hill offices. to note also, any Order he issues, he can just as easily take away with the stroke of his pen.

    Dear Representative:

On behalf of FRCAction, the legislative arm of Family Research Council, and the families we represent, we want to take this opportunity to warn you off any rumored last minute schemes or promises to issue an Executive Order (EO) that would magically fix the fact that the Senate bill (H.R. 3590) would spend government funds to pay for elective abortions.

Further, the Reconciliation bill 4872) will make matters worse by increasing funding for community health centers, which will bypass any abortion funding restrictions in appropriations bills because it is directly appropriated. Both taken together will fund abortion, regardless of any EO.

President Obama and the Democratic leadership know that such a plan, due to legal precedent, would be worth little in the long run.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the President for finally admitting that H.R. 3590 would lead to taxpayer funding of abortions (as we detailed in our score letter sent previously that can be found here http://downloads.frcaction.org/EF/EF10C07.pdf as well as a chart comparing the Stupak-Pitts amendment language in the original House passed bill vs. abortion language in H.R. 3590. This chart can be found here http://downloads.frcaction.org/EF/EF10C08.pdf).

If the Obama Administration continued to falsely believe the Senate bill had no problem on the issue of funding abortion and funding health plans that include abortion, he certainly would not put forth the idea of an EO.

Because of an EO would give no protections to the unborn when it comes to funding for abortion in the Senate bill, and abortion funding remains in these bills, FRCAction will still plan to score both the vote on both the Senate bill and on the Reconciliation bill in our scorecard for the Second Session of the 111th Congress. Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — The House of representatives tonight approved the pro-abortion Senate health care bill on a 219-212 vote with a 34 Democrats joining Republicans against it. The bill contains massive abortion funding and promotion that pro-life Democrats hope an executive order will mitigate.

Before the votes, Rep. Bart Stupak negotiated a deal with pro-abortion President Barack Obama for an executive order that he says will nullify the abortion funding.

But, pro-life groups unanimously opposed the executive order saying they don’t trust Obama and that technically it will fail in its attempt to stop the legislation’s abortion funding. They say an executive order can’t modify federal law and that abortions will be funded regardless of the content of the executive order.

“Unfortunately, this proposal does not begin to address the problem, which arises from decades of federal appellate rulings that apply the principles of Roe v. Wade to federal health legislation,” Richard Doerflinger, of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, explains.

“The executive order promised by President Obama was issued for political effect. It changes nothing,” National Right to Life added. “It does not correct any of the serious pro-abortion provisions in the bill.”

The top Republican in the House told Democrats prior to the vote that they should be clear the bill funds and promotes abortions.

“Make no mistake, a ‘yes’ vote on the Democrats’ health care bill is a vote for taxpayer-funded abortions,” he said.

Despite the abortion funding in the bill, Speaker Nancy Pelosi twice referred to the right to “life” — something Americans United for Life president Charmaine Yoest called a “horrible irony.”

In an effort to get the abortion funding out of the bill, Republicans and a handful of Democrats pushed for a motion to send the bill back to committee to add an abortion funding ban. Stupak disagreed with the motion and surprised pro-life advocates by saying, “It is the Democrats who have stood up for the principle of no funding for abortion.”

The motion ultimately failed 228-197 with 20 Democrats joining Republicans to support getting the abortion funding ban in the bill. Full story at LifeNews.com

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — Leading pro-life organizations are unanimous in their condemnation of the a deal between Rep. Bart Stupak and President Barack Obama to exchange an executive order for votes from pro-life Democrats backing the pro-abortion Senate health care bill.

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins was clear in his opposition and said what many pro-life groups are thinking, that there could be consequences at the ballot box.

“Those few pro-life Democrats that would place the fate of the unborn in the hands of the President, will be placing their own political fate in those same hands secured only by a promise that runs counter to everything he has said and done,” he told LifeNews.com.

He confirmed “there is no way that an executive order will protect the unborn or prevent the greatest expansion of elective abortion since Roe v. Wade. “Pro-life lawmakers would be making a serious mistake to trust those who have repeatedly attempted to mislead the American people into believing that abortion is not in the bill,” he added.

FRC and other pro-life groups point to legal rulings during the Bush administration in the 1980s that make the executive order a failed solution to the abortion funding in the bill.

Court rulings in cases such as Commerce of U.S. v Reich and Hamdan v. Rumsfeld make it very clear that such an executive order likely wouldn’t survive, Perkins contends.

National Right to Life issued a statement to LifeNews.com agreeing.

“The executive order promised by President Obama was issued for political effect. It changes nothing,” NRLC said. “It does not correct any of the serious pro-abortion provisions in the bill. The president cannot amend a bill by issuing an order, and the federal courts will enforce what the law says.” Full story at LifeNews.com

    ————————————————————

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — House Republican Leader John Boehner issued a statement this morning saying he opposes the idea to exchange pro-life votes for the pro-abortion health care bill for a promise of an executive order from President Barack Obama. He says the idea won’t work and that pro-life groups oppose it.

Several pro-life groups have already spoke out against the idea, that would have Rep. Bart Stupak and several pro-life Democrats give Nancy Pelosi 216 votes for the measure in exchange for an order to ban abortion funding in it.

The law of the land trumps any Executive Order, which can be reversed or altered at the stroke of a pen by this or any subsequent President without any congressional approval or notice,” Boehner said.

“Moreover, while an Executive Order can direct members of the executive branch, it cannot direct the private sector,” he added.

Opposition to the idea comes in part because technically it won’t work to authentically ban abortion funding and can easily be reversed.

Because of Roe v. Wade, courts have interpreted the decision as a statutory mandate that the government must provide federal funding for elective abortion in through federal programs. In other words, no Executive Order or regulation can override a statutory mandate unless Congress passes a law that prohibits federal funding from being used in this manner,” Boehner explained. Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius announced this morning that President Barack Obama will sign the pro-abortion health care bill into law on Tuesday. She also pledged Obama would “keep his word” on signing an executive order purporting to ban abortion funding.

The House approved the Senate health care bill, that funds and promotes abortions, on a narrow vote Sunday night.

The vote came after Rep. Bart Stupak and a group of “pro-life” Democrats reached an agreement with Obama to support the health care bill in exchange for an executive order that will supposedly ban abortion funding in the bill.

However, pro-life groups opposed the deal saying an executive order can’t be used to change federal law and pointing out that the order itself wouldn’t stop the several ways in which abortions are funded and promoted under the legislation.

    —————————————————–

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — With the House passing the pro-abortion health care bill Sunday night and President Barack Obama pledging to sign it into law on Tuesday, pro-life groups, state attorneys general and Republican lawmakers are moving forward with plans to file lawsuits against the bill and repeal it in the next Congress.

Once Obama signs the bill into law, the lawsuits will begin from all corners.

Attorneys General from Florida, South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Utah, Pennsylvania, Washington, North Dakota, South Dakota and several other states have already announced plans to file suits against the health care law.

“The health care reform legislation passed by the U. S. House of Representatives this evening clearly violates the U.S. Constitution and infringes on each state’s sovereignty,” Florida’s Attorney General Bill McCollum announced. “If the President signs this bill into law, we will file a lawsuit to protect the rights and the interests of American citizens.”

Leading pro-life groups will join them as officials from the American Center for Law and Justice are already preparing suit.

This health care package fails the American people and does not provide permanent protections for the life of the unborn, Jay Sekulow, the ACLJ chief counsel, told LifeNews.com today.

This flawed health care package may have passed – but it is far from being implemented,” Sekulow explained. Full story at LifeNews.com

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — In comments to Fox News today, Congressman Bart Stupak admitted pro-abortion President Barack Obama could repeal the executive order he promised Stupak in exchange for a handful of pro-life Democrats supporting the health care bill that funds and promotes abortions.

“The president didn’t sign it to rip it up tomorrow,” Stupak said about the executive order Obama is supposed to sign along with the legislation.

Yet, he added, “You’re right, Megyn, there is nothing that would stop this president from a month from now, a year from now, ten years from now, of repealing this executive order.”

Despite opposition from pro-life groups, the executive order “is worth more than the paper it is written on… History shows us that an executive order has the whole force of law. It is just as good as having a law,” Stupak said. “Would I have liked to have had a law… absolutely.”

“The only option you had was leave the Senate language or strengthen it to prevent abortions under an executive order — that’s what we did, we stayed true to those principles — or vote no.,” he said. “So you kill the bill and we do not have health care… I’ve always said I want to see health care for the nation.”

Stupak claims that a law banning abortion funding could just as easily be overturned as an executive order, even though the Hyde Amendment has withstood for decades while the Mexico City Policy has been revoked with every pro-abortion president. Full story at LifeNews.com

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — Planned Parenthood called the pro-abortion health care bill the House approved late Sunday night a victory and applauded the financial windfall it expected to reap as a result. The abortion business also dismissed the executive order President Barack Obama promised Congressman Bart Stupak as harmless.

For more than a year, Planned Parenthood has worked tirelessly for a health care” bill, its president Cecile Richards said in a statement today. “It’s a huge victory for women’s health, but our work isn’t over yet.”

With passage of the legislation, “monumental progress was made toward achieving these goals.”

Richard dismissed the executive order, which has been slammed by pro-life groups, as a “a symbolic gesture … to anti-choice Congressman Bart Stupak (D-MI), which has diverted attention from the central goal.”

Despite Stupak’s contention that the executive order would implement his abortion funding ban, Richards says that’s not the case.

‘What the president’s executive order did not do is include the complete and total ban … that Congressman Bart Stupak (D-MI) had insisted upon,” Richards said. “So while we regret that this proposed Executive Order has given the imprimatur of the president to Senator Nelson’s language, it is critically important to note that it does not include the Stupak abortion ban.” Full story at LifeNews.com

Three of the top potential Republican challengers against Barack Obama in 2012 have spoken out against the pro-abortion forced-insurance-purchase bill the Barack Hussein signed: Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and Tim Pawlenty all opposed the bill in comments after it passed.

  8. heading to Rome says:

Can women be ordained to the priesthood? This is a question which provokes much debate in our modern world, but it is one to which the Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church has always answered “NO.” The basis for the Catholic Church’s teaching on ordination is found in the New Testament as well as in the writings of the Church Fathers.

While women could publicly pray and prophesy in church(1 Corinthians 11:1-16), they could not teach or have authority over a man (1 St. Timothy 2:11-14, since these are two essential functins of the clergy. Nor could women publically question or challenge the teaching of the clergy (1 Corinthians 14:34-38).

    Tertullian

“It is not permitted for a woman to speak in the church[1 Cor 14:34-35], but neither is it poermitted her…to offer, nor to claim to herself a lot in any manly function, not to say sacedotal office.” ( The Veiling of Virgins 9 [A.D. 206]

    St. Hippolytus

“When a widow is to be appointed, she is not to be ordained, but is designated by being named a widow…A widow is appointed by words alone, and is then associated with the other widows.Hands are not imposed on her, because she does not offer the oblation and she does not conduct the liturgy.Ordination is for the clergy because of the liturgy; but a widow is appointed for prayer, and prayer is the duty of all.”
    (The Apostolic Tradition 11 [A.D. 215]

Any way.. No need to defend her to nay sayers. You folks really need to get a life. Pastor Melissa Scott has been given the ability to teach Gods word as very few pastors today, and I am grateful for her. Loree, a grateful student

Why does every born again bastard memorize one or two verses of Scripture and decide to communicate it to everyone? Lonely? Retarded? Uneducated? All three?

  10. Dennis Hughes says:

I admit to a certain morbid fascination with TV preachers. Going back to the early eighties watching Gene Scott, I was amazed at #1, his sizeable intellect and then his audicty in soliciting funds. The bad Dr. would use semantics to justify relentless dunning for TUITION.
That’s right, his angle was that if the viewer learned anything during the course of the broadcast, then PAY UP! His Svengali like influence over the congregation was a little odd also. A gifted guy, but a charlatan none-the-less.

Last night I chanced to stumble across Melissa Scott. Initially I thought maybe a daughter following in the footsteps, etc. etc. The set was identical, the teaching style and use of the grease board prominent. The absent factor was the late Dr. Scott’s considerable erudition.
Plus his acerbic personality coupled with his insatiable appetite for mammon. I thought again and drew the obvious conclusion that Melissa is the paramour/widow of Gene Scott, and a poor sustitute for a genuinely unique TV personality.

  12. Davo in Australia says:

She’s definitely Mellisa Pastore (no pun intended), an ex(?) French-Canadian porn star. Though in Australia now, I grew up in Montreal and lived there for over 40 yrs. She might deny her past, including being a porn star, but she definitely was part of a large porn movie industry, along with her then manager – who I believed was actually married to her at one point. And you just CANNOT hide the accent – being bilingual myself, you an always pick out a French Canadian (aka Quebecoise) trying to speak and sound English – you can always hear the French no matter how hard they try to disguise it. Ever listen to Celine Dion singing in English? ‘Nuff said.

Take it from one who definitely knows – Melissa and Barbie are one and the same.

I did not read all the posts, but, if someone caught the dr. gene scott showing the secret mosonic sign with his right hand on melissa’ right arm, then you would know that most of those that come out of stanford are mmasons. I’ll bet Melissa is an MKultra orphan, and has been brain washed and then given as a sex slave.
An’t it l;ike the satan to steal. Poor Mel, if she was an MKUltra girl they killed her soul then brainwashed her without self-determination. God have mercy on her soul. Jerry Springmier see if you can help this women.

  15. Paul says:

If Miss Scott is really aearching for the TRUTH, she would be Catholic. Funny how she wears a Roman Collar (as Priests do) and quotes Greek. Is that; however, how the Church interprets Scripture? Afterall, the Catholic Church composed what we now know as the “Bible”. Also,
She fails to address issues about her past. Is it possible she is possessd? After years of being steeped in porn, one can be easily used by the devil to draw other away from Christ and to a different Gospel. Listen to the Catholic Church – this is the Church producing the Saints! If this what she really wants!

    Paul

    • Davo in Australia says:

The Catholic Church “produces” saints? If any church, the one church who “makes void the word of God with their traditions” would certainly be the church to avoid!!!

Let’s remember that it’s called the ROMAN Catholic Church, the church that changed all things “religious” to conform to their way of thinking way back then when they nailed Him to the cross.

Being French Canadian, she would have most suredly attended Catholic church as well as her entire schooling would have been in French, with a deep RC influence throughout her school years.

Looks to me like she was born Catholic, but has attempted to come to her senses by adopting a more Christian faith. Whether it is true faith or not is up to the BIg Guy upstairs to decide, not us.

  16. Tim Rigney says:

“Judge not lest ye be judged.”

It’s REALLY as simple as that. Jesus himself said it – GOD said it, to us, in other words. It wasn’t a request. He wasn’t asking.
It was a command. There’s NOTHING more to it than that, no other
complications, no “worldly” matters which make it other than black
and white. “Judge not lest ye be judged,” period.

    • hiscrivener says:

That speaks of people and their ability to be accepted by Jesus. That is not being judged. However, since you are so in tune with the Bible, you may want to look into 1 Corinthians 2:15. The THINGS she does are completely up for judging. Sin that has been washed under the blood is off limits. Sins of commission and omission while standing in a pulpit is a totally different story.

      Period.

  17. Too Aware to Be Duped says:

Those of us in the know who are in the inner circles know that Melissa Scott is having an affair with a married porn star. She is still on-line through the back entrance, par for the course, displaying her nakedness to the world for pay. She was dating the married Gene Scott before he was divorced, decades her age, and did the same with an porn producer where she engaged in and consented to videos and pictures involving all manner of filth. Her word means nothing when she lives a lifestyle of deceit and adultery. You can say all you want but God knows the heart of his true ones. Too easy to spread ones gap for money, attention and wealth. There’s no virtue in it. All the gold and silver in the world cannot make up for a bad name! The mere idea that she is collecting money while carrying on in this adultery and abomination before the eyes of God and his people is blasphemy and mocks God outright. This is not speculation. These are facts and truths known to many. Paul Crouch Jr. was pander to this affair. May God expose these wolves in sheeps clothing! Once and for all.

  18. USMC5 says:

You are a collossal, self-righteous a$$hole. What the f***do you know about anybody or anything you read about on the internet? Church geeks like you never got past sunday school understanding. When the church takes on a form greater than the mush-headed suburban Hallmark Card sensibilities you put on the garments of the Sanhedrin. You are the world that continues to afflict the Body of Christ because you have reduced the church to the stature of your stunted ideology. The truth becomes foolishness to you. God deliver you from this mind of satan. You don’t know these people. The world hands you a sh*t-stained cartoon and you accept it as authentic. You crow about it before men because you understand, and others are “dupes.” Your father in hell has duped you.

    • hiscrivener says:

Hey USMC, if you really are a Marine, God bless you for your service. Seeing how your URL is her Web site, I’m sure that’s precisely how you should be representing a ministry, but then again, what do I know? I just read Hallmark cards. Thanks for stopping by though.

      • DocUSMCUSNcorpsman says:

I am laughing so hard! She is Barbie, Marine! Get of of it and look at the evidence. These people are offering SitReps to you. Open your eyes, dude! I am getting tired of trying to get the people who work for her to understand. Are you a Marine? Am I am a Corpsman? Who knows? I believe with all my heart when you look at her pics and the evidence (SO much is out there!), you have to really think hard! I have. My opinion? She IS BARBIE! FRP may come in handy. She is no doubt smart- Hell if she would come clean, I may even listen to what her teachings on the big white board say! BUT SHE NEEDS TO COME CLEAN! No more BS!

NO MORE LIES ABOUT SERVING JESUS.

    • DocUSMCUSNcorpsman says:

PS: Great English concerning what our lord may dislike! Even when I served, I had the guts not to use the “***” stuff…. Thanks for you comments- It speaks volumes! Christian? Negative Marine! I hope you see what you are missing!

  19. Joe Chavez says:

I caught the program on TV the other night. Today I went to the website. The statement of faith looks Biblical enough, but then I clicked on the link “Join us for service.”

I wasn’t surprised by what I saw, but how do you justify, Biblically: “Reservations are required.”

Excuse me? Is this a restaurant? What the …?

And though the church claims to uphold Biblical teaching, what about 1 Timothy 2:12: “But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet?”

When the camera panned over the audience at one point, I saw the audience…ah hem…congregation filled with men.

    Interesting.

  21. Stephen Long says:

She may have had a past but that is what all people who are christian claim. The bible says “all have sinned & come short of the glory of God”. When we come to Christ he converts our hearts. Giving us a heart of flesh instead of a heart of stone that worldly people have. She converted to Christ like everyone else claiming to be a “born again believer” believes.

Jesus hung out with sinners & uncommon people with sinful pasts. Jesus was condemned by the religious rulers of the day for it too. He gave his life for us sinners to be made over into a new creation as Paul states it in the bible.

Paul says you wil know them by their fruit. So look at her ministry. Is she doing good things? Is she helping people to understand God’s word? Does she promote Christ? I think so.

Dude, articles like this are what keep me coming back here every day!! 🙂 Thank you! Kudos to you for alerting folks to situations like this in your typical humorous way, and kudos to you for reminding us of scriptural integrity at the same time. You are correct that sins forgiven, are sins forgiven, and believe me I know. Forget 2nd chances, I have lost count on how gracious and merciful God has been to me, and am so grateful for His Son, and my salvation. Hopefully she is just “running the race”, slipping and falling like most of us sinners do, but if not….her eternity may be compromised, and sadly she may be a stumbling block for those seeking salvation through Christ. Let’s pray for her spiritual change, and for the surgeon that did her nose job! That Doc is good, huh?!?! ROFLOL.
