For the past couple of months, we have been following the tragic tale of the “Godfather of Gospel,” Rev. Timothy Wright.

During that time, we have seen the man live up to his songs and dream of getting back in the pulpit, have his church mortgage paid by a colleague in Rev. John P. Kee and now this… a blessing and a benefit long overdue in the Gospel world, as broke by Beliefnet.

In case you can’t clearly see the concert flyer, here is the information:

The concert will take place at:
Shiloh Baptist Church
515 West Fourth Street
Plainfield, NJ
Directions to the event

Praise and worship begins at 2:30 PM; the concert starts at 3:00. Performing are the combined choirs of the Shiloh Baptist Church and the Calvery Baptist Church; the Timothy Wright Concert Choir; Children of God – The Brothers Harris; and Alvin Darling and Celebration.

Now if you have supported him and prayed for him during this trial, understand he won’t be on the mic. However, knowing he is out of the hospital to witness the Gospel community gathering together to help pay for his exorbitant medical bills, is encouragement enough that “Trouble [truly] don’t last always!”

Keep singin’ brother!
