The 4th of July is a day chock full of entertainment.

Americana, you know? BBQ ribs heating on the grill, Kool-aid (only cherry), Mama’s potato salad, adult beverages (if you are in to that sort of thing) and memories of what this country is all about – our true heroes defending this country and those that have sacrificed for it. The fireworks are them. The rest of us just get to sit and enjoy.

So for the holiday weekend, not one BUT TWO videos! Yes, Wall watchers. It’s a holiday double feature. First, for the kiddos (and those adults who I KNOW will sneak a peek of the great School House Rock):

AND NOW, for the adults.

You know, tribute videos are amazing and can capture eons of tragedy and heroism in minutes, like this one on the Wall already. But what Whitney Houston did at Super Bowl XXV with the Star Spangled Banner is not only legendary but STILL chilling [and yes, I’m fighting the urge to flame on some drug use jokes and other musings about Bobby Brown]!

So, for all of us, crack… er, crank… geesh, turn it up and enjoy! Happy 4th of July, and special shout out to HiScrivener’s dad who lived through it all, and would probably do it all over again.

Thanks, from all of us.
