The Empire Strikes Back: John Freshwater busted

It seems the Mount Vernon School District has had about as much of this ACLU-induced media frenzy it can handle with this latest report.

Freshwater has now been informed that he can have his trusty KJV66 in his classroom, just buried in his desk underneath gum wrappers, chewed up pencils and chalk dust only to be dusted off during his lunch hour. If not, according to school board president Steve Watson, “insubordination could be made.”

We are supposed to obey the laws of the land on one hand and walk by faith, not by sight on the other. However, which law takes precedence. The law providing mankind the freedom of speech and religion or the quasi laws that the ACLU enforces because one wily and jaded parent calls the school board in protest?

John Freshwater, in the words of Maximus Decimus Meridius, “Strength and Honor.” You do us [the Body of Christ] proud, sir.
