Thanks for the review. It confirmed my suspicions. Not worth paying any money to see. I like to be entertained (with a good story line of course) when I see a movie. It doesnt bother me that much about Christian symbols getting blown to smithereens, although the Muslim fatwash threat is not lost on me.

This was just an overblown personal agenda of a man with too much money, time and bad imagination on his hands.

Clark mentioned that we should never reveal moments of doubt as a reason for not being healed yet Jesus did just that many times. Are we as church sitting in stagnant water and not stepping into the rivers of life that Jesus revealed? I’m very conflicted. I read one thing and scripture and yet see something very different in our church.

Hadn’t planned on seeing the movie, as I think I am above the age limit to be allowed into the big screen theatres now. Isn’t that 45 and under now or something like that! LOL. Seriously, with work 6 days a week, I will watch it on Cable next year. That still gives me two years to be prepared for all the destruction!

Excellent review, and actually much what I expected from Hollywood. Trashing Christians, or showing them as extremists is old hat to them. You are probably right about the apathy querie for sure. Time to remember and practice that old song. ” I Am Not Ashamed To Own My Lord”. Christians have confused the “love thy neighbor” commandment with “appease thy neighbor” hog wash. Methinks this is not the message Christ was intending us to share. The ways of our nation/the majority of the world today, shows how “asleep” we have been.

The gay activists would have done this and worse to any of us who stand up against them. Although I dont have any sex tapes, meat-bearing skeletons, or salacious quotes they could use against me, it didnt stop one of them from superimposing/photoshopping my head onto the body of one two naked men in a sex act and put it on the web. I dont know if its still there.

So Im down with Carrie knowing that their perverted anger is only because she isnt affirming of them. Theyre not angry because she’s a hypocrite, theyre peed because she wont support them. The ones who do support homosexuality, have mountains of perversion and hypocrisy following them, but its cool because theyre gay friendly.

Id suggest to her that she get an “Aaron” to help her when she is out in public. And a coach to learn how to give really good media soundbites.

Personally, I dont hold any fault against her for getting the boob upgrade no more than Id be upset about her getting her crooked teeth fixed if they were. She probably should have paid for them with her own money though.

@Phil – She stood up when most would have sat down long ago. She’s strong for that, which is why I was cool with her. But this? Sigh… it’s a matter of knowing when to say when. You are right though bro. She should be applauded for what she said then. I’m not so sure about now.

@IST – I heard the Geek Squad are good for that. The fact that Christ followers really on Hollywood for their megaphone befuddles me. We can be our own voice. I mean look at any one of our blogrolls.
