All due respect to Genesis, creation and being in God’s likeness, but this story from FOX News pointing us south o’ the border is sacrilege of the highest order… hence, plastered on the Wall.
Federal agents have arrested a man on charges of drug trafficking after finding a statue of Jesus made of cocaine at a Texas border crossing.
Yeah, enter your terrible and impious jocularity here:
- “a buzz of godly proportions” …
- “talk about deliverance” …
- “needing God’s help to get across the border”… whatever.
This is just sad. However, there is a shiny side to this morose and dank story:
If convicted, Garcia-Cordova faces between five and 40 years in jail on each charge, as well as a $2 million fine.
So – sans salvation – he’ll be burnt to a crisp in hell… AND BROKE! Nice.
